We have an exciting new opportunity for those who are interested in conducting Participatory Health Research (PHR) with children - the 'Kids in Action' multi-country 3 year collaborative initiative.  Kids in Action is a new focus area of the ICPHR that will be launched at our 2016 Annual Working Meeting in Sweden. The meeting minutes from the 2015 Annual Working Meeting in Berlin Germany are now posted. The minutes highlight new projects that the ICPHR is undertaking as well as emergent issues.

A summary of the 2014 Annual Working Meeting is now posted on the Niteroi conference page. We have also posted an updated project list to include new members projects identified at the AWM 2014.  If you are interested in joining any of the projects, please email the member lead directly. 

The 2014 AWM in Niterói will be preceded by the 1º International Research Seminar on Primary Health Care in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Members of the ICPHR will be facilitating four workshops over 2 days (Aug 18 & 19) on:
1. Undertaking Participatory Research to Integrate Knowledge Translation in Primary Health Care
2. Practitioner Research for Health and Social Care
3. Introduction to Participatory Health Research
4. Empowerment in Primary Health Care

Registration is now open! The deadline to register is April 15, 2014.

The Fifth Annual Working Meeting will take in Niteroi (Brazil) from August 20th to August 23rd.  There will also be a pre-event in Rio de Janeiro from August 18th to August 20th.  As for all previous meetings, funding is being sought to cover the travel expenses of those attending. However, it is important that members exhaust all other sources before requesting funding, given that it cannot yet be determined what funds will be available.
