The Fourth Annual Working Meeting took place from June 5th-7th 2013 at the University of Northumbria at Newcastle-upon-Tyne in the UK, hosted by our member Dr. Tina Cook.  It was our largest annual meeting to date with 30 members attending from 11 countries.  Several topics were discussed focusing on current and future projects to advance the work of the ICPHR.  Detailed minutes will be sent in the coming weeks to the participants.  A summary of the meeting will be posted on the website.

Our next Annual Working Meeting will take place from June 5th-7th 2013 at the University of Northumbria in Newcastle-upon-Tyne in the UK: http://www.northumbria.ac.uk/   The meeting will begin on Wednesday, June 5th at 9am and finish on Friday June 7th at 3pm.  The meeting will be preceded by a two-day course on participatory research designed for practitioners, researchers, and engaged citizens interested in learning more about this approach.  More information on the Annual Working Meeting will be provided in the coming months on the website.  ICPHR members will receive registration material by email.

The Third Annual Working Meeting of the ICPHR was held from 10-12 May 2012 at the Escola Superior de Enfermagem de Coimbra in the city of Coimbra, Portugal. The meeting was preceded by Peer IV, a major conference on peer education and participatory research with youth. Several new initiatives were launched at the meeting to generate common position papers on key aspects of participatory health research and to provide syntheses of current practice.
